Life changing Decision

I have a delima and it's veeeeery life changing.Go to college at my dads house in houston and get some dance jobs while in school or go to Las vegas were my best friend has a three bedroom house to him self and a job promoting clubs getting payed 1000 a week along with getting into all the clubs free vip status! I dont know what to do

tough decision... and ultimately the decision will be in your hands...if you make the decision with your heart you won't go wrong...

but here's something to think about...Vegas would be cool, fun, instant gratification (financial, independence etc) but may not last long, its a fickle city after all...and while I may not agree with the way the school systems do business, an education would serve you well in the long run...perhaps in drama or theater?

i felt the same way. i'm an entertainer by heart but also like to make sure what i do benefits the world and has long term positve results.

I think most jobs that involve social service or community action probably require a bachelors degree and some may require a Masters to make decent money to support self and kids. (Don't mean to scare you).

I sometimes suggest working backwards from a goal. You might try looking at some of the organizations that you respect and see what kind of jobs they offer and what kind of degree you need to get that job.

I'm going to college everyone! its the biggest choice and the hardest, which means that the hard way builds more character, the soul learns more, and the brain gains insight on a new enviroment. I've danced all mylife and been in many clubs so it aint nothin new but is exciting being the main man and knowing i'm vip with a big house between my best friend. we'd kick ass, but i'll transfer for a simester tho

Good choice man, I'm actually in the same sort of predicament haha. Sort of. Like sshenry said, the heart doesn't fail you. It's what I'm doing. Let's hope it works out : D
