Theres no explaining fetishes. There are some things that are beyond understanding such as the Furries and Albino Fetishists.
I find Asian girls very interesting but i cant see the reason behind the fetish..
I've always wondered why some guys like John Lennon had the "asian fetish" and thought that asian girls were extremely attractive.
and I never got it. :/
Care to explain?
Lately, I've been vewwy vewwy sadand have decided to turn my life around, because if we all love each other, anything is possible! So in order to do that, I am looking for a very new quote that I can base my uberly new like awesome saintly life on!

"I love you
You love me
We're best friends like friends should be
With a great big hug and
A kiss from me to you
Won't you say you love me too?"

People are people, no matter who they are or their race or culture. I guess maybe ones perspective depends on your experiences and exposure in life. I grew up around Caucasians, Japanese, Mexicans, African Americans, Portuguese, Chinese, and etc. I don't really see any difference, if you meet someone, and you get along and you like how they look and respond to you, and you are compatible, why not.
Though in general I find most people are attracted to those who are similar to themselves, without even realizing it. All of my wives, past and present, are were of Native American descent, just like me. But I have dated and spent time with many others, it just never worked out.
But race is not a consideration, it is more about similar mental, emotional and spiritual qualities.
How many of us do things to buck the trend, or because it seems more exotic, we are not the only ones privileged to such action I assume. And maybe John Lennon was Indigo.
i believe John Lennon was definitely indigo or at least awakened..his lyrics always struck home for me.
and asian chicks...my stepmom is indonesian,my dad is irish..me personally,i physically like asian women but their culture, with all the little this and that..i just cant stand it..
Sometimes life kicks you in the nuts, best thing I learnt so far is to scream BLOODY HELL as loud as I can, readjust the jock strap, and walk on.

There are many attractive forces in every person. Finding out, for yourself, what they are and then further why you have them is an exploration of self understanding. This does not apply to understanding of the why for others.
Everyone has fetishes. However, some of them are so common that most think that they are normal.
An example.
Underwear is an attractive force for most people. Seeing the peak of a bra or underwear is a big turn on. However, the same shaped item as a bathing suit will have a different reaction. Most, and I really mean almost all (in the US) really like both, but look for those that don't care at all for them. They will say, "I just don't get why people are turned on by these..."
So, look into what 'attracts' you. Look at the attraction. See where it is pulling. Judge its strength.
Here are some of the things that define attraction.
Physical continuity: Men are looking for women who will bear children well; well developed hips, ample bust, high cheekbones... Woman are looking for men who will help raise their children; Good fighting strength, protective attitude, steady emotions, (notice most features in women are visual, and most features in men are emotional that the opposite sex is looking for)
Lower brain match to primary care taker: You have an image of the person(s) that your brain is matching to people it looks at. It matches not just appearance, but also stance, body language, emotions... It is looking for matches for the love it was given, and more importantly for a person to get the love they were missing (to work out childhood issues with)
Energy level; how much spiritual and other energies do they have. Why do woman throw themselves at rock stars? But, and especially for indigos, you are looking for someone of similar spiritual levels to get along with.
One thing I would like all of you to do is to observer smell. You will find the people you are really attracted to smell nice. Nice to you. Not nice to everyone, or even anyone else. They have a pleasant smell to you. Most call this physical chemistry.

I tend to be attracted to cultures that aren't my own. Maybe it's cause it's new and different. I'm sure this might play a part, but like miamisound said, there's really no explanation for why someone likes something, it's just their thing. W/E tickles your pickle you know?
