Perhaps Isaiah was struggling to express some idea of infinite duration but it must be doubtful whether 'first' and 'last' and 'from the beginning' indicate that concept. Rather do these terms suggest Yahweh's casual creative activity as Originator and Controller of cosmic forces, dynamic rather than temporal references. Two of the most surprising (and mistranslated) verses in the Old Testament may actually concern "ATLANTIS". The passage is found in the Book of Job, and in the respected King James version reads like this:
"Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof. Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering." (Job 26:5-6)
An innocuous enough sounding passage: no clue here to the famous sunken land. But in reality, these verses deserve a second look. The very first word in the above passage is the Hebrew word Rephaim, a reference to the descendants of Repha! In other words, this is a direct reference to the sons of King Cronos - the famed Titans of Greek mythology. And the Hebrew verb translated "formed" should have been translated "tremble" or "writhe". What a change this makes! An informed modern translation would read:

"The Titans tremble beneath the waters and the inhabitants thereof. Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering." (Job 26:5-6)

Dr. James Moffett (1922) of Oxford University is almost poetic in his expressive rendering of the passage in question. Undoubtably he has caught the meaning of what this is all about.

"Before him the primaeval giants writhe, under the ocean in their prison; the underworld lies open to his eyes, the nether regions are unveiled." (Job 26:5-6)
Yahweh, the Hebrew equivalent of Zeus, is said to be able to see right through the "covering" (the waters) and view "destruction" of "ATLANTIS" is if it were lying naked before him. Tartaros is the Greek name for this underwater prison about why different names for God within the same religion. This is one that was changed through time, translation, and misinterpretation, to many variations of the original, including, within several religions. Just showing the meaning beind the name and the many thangs it
represents such as the four letters of the name of yahweh in the hebrew
letters and the four letter words of love and the four elements of the earth
"EARTH" "WIND" "FIRE" AND "WATER" and how that coensides with the
name of YAHWEH יהוה.. It is a part of Kabbalah teaching of Judiesm
and it is somthing to meditate on while praying to connect with the divine
self and higher knowledge of spirituality.

It shows to me, that God was, and is the same yesterday, today and forever. That we are the screw ups, who complicate things and change the message down through time.

If the Bible is correct, then Adam and Eve had the Gospel and all truths available to man from the beginning. I can see that, but then some how scholars seem to loose sight of that somewhere in their thinking. If the Bible is true, then it precludes that all similarities have one truth.

It is funny that, when some new thing is discovered, they then try to say, that it predates the Bible, therefore the Bible data must of come from it. I find that so ?????, when Gods Words where first.

I guess it depends on ones point of reality, on how things happened.
