    tiny, pinpoint flashes of light

i am wondering if anyone have experienced this: the best way i can describe this in words is a random little tiny light, like the flash from a very very very tiny camera, within my field of vision. it is usually a single point of light, sometimes in a succession of one another. the flash is always a split second long, except for one even stranger occurrence i had in november of 2006: i was sitting in a well lit classroom when i saw about 4 small lights that were lined up vertically; i saw it in my field of vision of my right eye. remember turning my head to the right and looking at it, they did not flash, they moved kind of slow and left a trail (like a comet) then disappeared. i've haven't experienced that since then, but i still have the tiny flashes from time to time. i never know when i will see it, they are totally random. at first, i thought there was something wrong with my retina, but upon an examination at the eye dr's, there is nothing wrong with my eyes. i have been experiencing this on and off for about 3 years, and now it is 'on' again. it doesn't matter if it is day or night, it happens in a well lit room as well as in the dark. i thought that maybe it was something about where i lived, but upon moving to a new apartment from a house earlier this year, i have noticed the same thing happening still. i have not came across any information about this....has anyone ever have this happen to them

I see um too. I can't seem to make any logical connection for them either. Could just be the natural chi energy that floats around everywhere? I don't know. I just know that it gets distracting and makes me pause and wonder when I see that stuff. The next time I encounter the lights I'm going to greet it and say hi.

Was it blue sparkles? I saw something similar to this before and found that others here had posted about that under "blue sparkes".

wow dolphinchild96, sounds like your a natural at seeing auras, keep up the good work

suddenlyiawoke, I often see similar things and shadow people out of the corner of my eye, one of the ways to increase your spiritual sight is to look at things with your peripheral vision. eg if you want to see someone's aura, you wouldn't stare at where their aura would be, you would stare at their nose or throat and try to see their aura with your peripheral vision.
Sounds like you are seeing orbs with your peripheral vision, I get this too sometimes, dont worry, they are very positive!

You can practice your spiritual sight with simple excercises so that you can hold onto your ability, but do whatever feels right to you. here's a link:

    enjoy!

    Lightbulb

Thank you so much for being aware and posting on this subject. Until now, I have not been able to find any information about this phenomenon.

I first started experiencing this right after the birth of my daughter several years ago. There were little lights everyday, lots of them.

The lights still show up but are few and far between. Interestingly, about a year ago while talking with my mother in law about her mom who had recently passed, an instant, bright pinpoint light flashed over her shoulder. I smiled. Are these lights spirit?

Visiting with an aquiantance of mine the other day I saw the same bright flash over his shoulder while we were in conversation. How do you ask someone - did someone close to you die recently? I'm still waiting to dig a little deeper to find out if this might be the case.

Thank you all for posting your experiences as well and sharing such amazing events.

    Hi MizApril,
It's funny how different the reactions can be when you bring up energy flashes and dead relatives in the middle of the conversation. I guess if they stay they really are your friend. Welcome to Indigo Society!

I see these sparkles when I meditate - have done for many many years. Mostly see them outdoors. The little sparkles fill that sky moving in every direction, each just lasting a split second. Also see the little ones that move like comets, leaving a little tail. These are not as plentiful as the others.

I put the phenomen down to seeing "energy", that's there all the time. The fact I see them when I mediate indicates to me that they are something that comes with raising your vibrations and being able to tune in more to the Universe.

Also I think that having your Third Eye (6th Chakra) activated has something to do with it too.

I see them. Am sometimes a little fearful it could mean something is medically wrong, but feel that I am well enough. I usually see them when I am thinking questions in my mind, almost as if it's a confirmation which way to go (guides). Love reading your responses. It's helping me sort out my questions. I agree with Fjoem re peripheral vision - that is when I see the most - shadow friends, energy etc.

I frequently see a lot of little white flashes across my field of vision all at once. I haven't figured out the cause of them yet. I refer to them as my sparklies.

I see them once-three times a week, usually they are purple and last two or three seconds, rarely ever more. My doctor thought I might have had a brain tumor, I even had a CT scan done (There is a history of tumors and cancer in my family), but it came back clean.

I personally think that they are ghosts/spirits not strong enough to form a body, and they are all part of our 'sixth sense, third eye' whatever you want to call it.

I've seen floaters plenty of times and they don't really look like tiny flashes of light, more like seeing something through a microscope.

Yeah, people use all types of adjectives to describe things they aren't familiar with.

Floaters are constantly in one's field of vision; as if someone spilled a droplet of water on your eye and it's permanently smudged there. Abrupt flashes of light (to my knowledge) are a completely different phenomenon....
