Okay, I love music and I love finding new music, I practically collect it! So I want to know what songs people are listening to, particularly the lyrics. Here are a couple that I've been listening to a lot lately. ^_^

I've been listening to alot of Amon Amarth, Nightwish, Iced earth, and Breaking Benjamin lately.

Here is one of my favorite songs by Amon Amarth. For some reason it resonates deep inside of me. I was germanic in another life, and died pretty tragically in battle. Maybe that is why. Any way, the song is great, and if you like metal, you will probably like this song. Just thought I would post it because it is one of my favorite songs right now. The beats are awesome, not like most metal bands where it sounds like they are just screaming, banging on the drums, and strumming their guitars.

Showing my age here a tad (not that I'm old, I'm certainly not )

I'm learning that my body responds very much to vibration more than words. I'm not much on the lyrics, but really like the FEEL of music. I grew up playing classical violin, so there are several orchestral pieces I enjoy, no words.

I also teach a variety of group fitness classes, from martial arts, to salsa dancing, to hip hop/youth fitness dancing....which explains the variety of artists, but a general feel of beat.

My taste in music seems to change rather quickly.

When I was younger I use to listen to a lot of west coast style rap, like Snoop Dog, Warren G, Ice Cube, Tupac, you get the idea.

Now a days I can't stand rap and I'm more a metalhead of sorts. Lately I've been listening to a lot of Emperer, Summoning, Darkthrone, Enslaved, Blut Aus Nord, Amon Amarth etc...sort of a mix and black/viking metal all in all. I'll also listen to the band Tool and some jazz.
