    ::::::Indigo Adult Characteristics:::::::

-Are intelligent, though may not have had top grades.

-Are very creative and enjoy making things.

-Always need to know WHY, especially why they are being asked to do something.

-Had disgust and perhaps loathing for much of the required and repetitious work in school.

-Were rebellious in school in that they refused to do homework and rejected authority of teachers, OR seriously wanted to rebel, but didn't DARE, usually due to parental pressure.

-May have experienced early existential depression and feelings of helplessness. These may have ranged from sadness to utter despair. Suicidal feelings while still in high school or younger are not uncommon in the Indigo Adult.

-Have difficulty in service-oriented jobs. Indigos resist authority and caste system of employment.

-Prefer leadership positions or working alone to team positions.

-Have deep empathy for others, yet an intolerance of stupidity.

-May be extremely emotionally sensitive including crying at the drop of a hat (no shielding) Or may be the opposite and show no expression of emotion (full shielding).

    -May have trouble with RAGE.

-Have trouble with systems they consider broken or ineffective, ie. political, educational, medical, and legal.

-Alienation from or anger with politics - feeling your voice won't count and/or that the outcome really doesn't mattter.

-Frustration with or rejection of the traditional American dream - 9-5 career, marriage, 2.5 children, house with white picket fence, etc.

-Anger at rights being taken away, fear and/or fury at "Big Brother watching you."

-Have a burning desire to do something to change and improve the world. May be stymied what to do. May have trouble identifying their path.

-Have psychic or spiritual interest appear fairly young - in or before teen years.

-Had few if any Indigo role models. Having had some doesn't mean you're not an indigo, though.

    -Have strong intuition.

-Random behavior pattern or mind style - (symptoms of Attention Deficit Disorder). May have trouble focusing on assigned tasks, may jump around in conversations.

-Have had psychic experiences, such as premonitions, seeing angels or ghosts, out of body experiences, hearing voices.

-May be electrically sensitive such as watches not working and street lights going out as you move under them, electrical equipment malfunctioning and lights blowing out.

-May have awareness of other dimensions and parallel realities.

-Sexually are very expressive and inventive OR may reject sexuality in boredom or with intention of achieving higher spiritual connection. May explore alternative types of sexuality.

-Seek meaning to their life and understanding about the world May seek this through religion or spirituality, spiritual groups and books, self-help groups and books.

-When they find balance they may become very strong, healthy, happy individuals.

!!!Please note, anyone could have a few of these traits, but Indigo Adults have most or all of these 25 characteristics
I'm not here. I don't know where I am. Not here. Not anywhere.

hmmm... good question. i've wondered that myself
I remember discover that very same list online about four years ago, when I first began my quest to find out what I was,and why I felt, "different" then other people. Most of the things on the list are so very Me. I once printed out a copy of that and highlighted all of my traits with a pink highlighter pen. It was amazing to see how much of it ended up being pink, lol. Reading the part about always needing to know why made me nearly laugh out loud realizing that to this very day I always seem to need to know why things are as they are. If something has no known reason, I really try to find one. Extremely emotional sums me up very well. So many times I have wished I didn't cry so easily. So many are right on, but the one I have never understood fully is "may have trouble with RAGE." I was never sure if that meant, getting angry and becoming enraged far to easily, or if it meant being overly sensitive to someone raging at us.

This is a very good and accurate list. Personally, I have all but two listed. I do not suffer from rage, nor does electricity malfunction around me.
I first discovered I was different when I was still in grammar school. It wasn't often, but if my parents were fighting about something, I would ALWAYS know that something was wrong before I even walked in the front door when I got home from school. I could feel it, as if it was a heavy blanket covering the air. Also, when I was much younger, I knew my sister had cancer before anyone told me. She was in Toronto at the Hospital for Sick Children (having been afflicted with rheumatoid arthritis since she was 4) when she was diagnosed. I was at home, in northwestern Ontario, when my Mother called from Toronto to tell my babysitter that they were going to be away longer because of this turn of events. I still remember that the babysitter was in another room talking with my Mother while I was watching cartoons in the livingroom. My babysitter came from the back room to inform me of the delay and I remember looking at her and saying, "Does Ang have cancer?" Her faced dropped, stunned. That is how I knew I was right.
So, my insight (as I call it) has always been very strong.

If you match most or all of the traits on that list, then the probability is very high. There's no surefire way to "tell", that I know of, though, except perhaps if someone experienced judges your aura.

Do you have all your permanent teeth?
You get what you think about whether you want it or not.

I don't know if this was directed at me, but I actually don't - I have a full mouth of permanent teeth - except for one. I apparently have a baby tooth that will never fall out because it doesn't have an adult tooth behind it.

Is there some kind of significance to this?

    Lol!
I was totally making a joke when I realized I also had a baby tooth with no permanent behind it. I just got a kharmic spanking. I eventually lost the baby tooth when I was 23. Ha, ha.
I figure an adult is somebody who is past puberty.
ps. Not all adults are mature enough to qulify as "adults".

LOL - I see the joke now, I feel silly. Sorry, sleep deprivation and all that, makes me think more linearly

That "having to know WHY' is the one that has gotten me into lots of trouble.

People in authority don't like it... and they don't seem to understand that I'm not being a smart alek ...... I truly need to know why they want me to do something or why they expect something out of me....

Gee whiz, don't they understand that the results, answers, etc. depend greatly on why the task/question, etc. is being done?

As for shielding emotions.... I don't show emotion well.
That gets me into trouble, too....
Ever wonder what my home is like?

There are those of "US",that came in some time ago as "SCOUTS"..At least this is what some of the writings call us.I ,myself do not care for labels,as they tend to pigeonhole & limit us.But in 2days world they seem to have become a trend & need.Even the words INDIGO or CRYSTAL are labels for spiritual beings, that are "NOT BETTER" than others just a little"more "different than the usual. Are we not "UNcommon as opposed to common,UNusual as opposed to usual.YOU get the picture.Let us not forget we came here to serve others. To help those who forgot to RE-MEMBER.IF I AM NOT HAVING FUN ON THIS JOURNEY ,I AM DOING IT WRONG!!!NAMASTE"

    Most of the above

A lot of the things mentioned on that list are also consistent with people who have experienced near-death, and (I know this will sound crazy, but hopefully not with this crowd), alien abduction.

As for electrical sensitivity, this may be discussed elsewhere in the forums here, but your mind can act as something of a radio tuner, with your body aura being altered to various frequencies which can interfere with or even enhance electronics. If you have the phenomena not quite developed into a "power" or it interacts with other people (or beings) in a "short circuit" then it can interfere with electronic devices or even cause them to break.

    Some that I have experienced/done:

Calling a lightning strike before it happens. Not so much controlling it, but knowing some moment(s) ahead of where it will go. Some people can control them to some degree and from what I can tell, it has something to do with being able to manipulate the ions in the air when there is a high ozone content in the air.

People who experience spirit beings, especially in groups sometimes note an "ozone smell" or they sense ozone in the air before and after the phenomenon occurs.

Have or do you think or concentrate a certain way which will influence the performance of your cell phone or car remote? Lots of people do that and would not admit that it is a paranormal ability.

like working under someones supervision? chinese have always been taught to do that ... becoz we like only one thing of a whole big system ... n ppl tend to make us all look the same and so that is the difference between collectivism and individualism ?

if we were taught to obey all our life.. without much question coz that is deem as being irrespectful .. then its only normal that we obey even we might not like it haha~

i think that being indigo is quite something that you have to see as an individual anyway lol but well i think what you speak of might look like communism or something like that =) but yes i think that depending on the organisation of the country you live in you may feel this or not =)

but maybe some different specifics ones could be wrote for different countries =)

but i came across some other definition of 'indigo state' well more general maybe but there are in french i'll look at this but it was very long and i'm a bit lazy to translate it all lol

    http://silus.club.fr/indigo.html

"We point out also and still that this state makes them refractory to the forms d' authority nonrespectful of their integrity, their sensitivity, their need for truth and comprehension."

maybe you can use a translator french<->english or french<->your language
