welcome on the earthhope you enjoyed your trip througth [insert a company here] space ships. the temperature is 25°c and the weather is raining.
Does anyone else feel a strange pull or familiarity toward some things to do with space, alien life forms, or any sort of technical things that are unfamiliar here on earth? It's strange. I have always felt a very strong sense of the familiar when looking at pictures of things like nebulas and star systems. I have come across pictures online and in books, that depict strange fictional worlds where the stars and several moons are visible from land, and I feel what I could almost call homesickness, or a sense of being far away from where I should be. it's kind of like being sure i know a place like that, but can't quite remember it. it feels both happy and sad at the same time.
Several years ago, I happened to read a book of short science fiction stories, (I'm a science fiction fan,) and I in this book was a story that soon became one of my all time favorites. it still is to this day. The story featured a huge star ship traveling a great unknown distance through space, to carry a part of humanity to a new home. This self driven, almost intelligent ship, seemed so familiar to me that I grew confused and sad while reading. Surely I can't be insane, or the only one who feels things like this. I don't mean to sound like a raging lunatic here, but I am becoming convinced that I am a member of some alien race, who has for some reason incarnated in a human form. Oddly though, I also have some recall of a life on earth before this one.
What an age in which to be alive. With each day that passes, I marvel more and more at all it's wonders

LOL.I honestly don't know what to make of that.

I have always had a fascination for space. Not exactly the way you describe yours, but an especially strong connection with the constellation Orion. I have memories that go back to when I was 7 or so of spending time just watching. Coincidentally, I was born week of the empath, and my constellation is Canis Minor, Orion's hunting dog, so maybe these two are connected.
I understand exactly what you mean. I have always held a long life fascination with space. I have always looked up at the stars and thought 'home'. I could never figure out why i felt like somewhere out there was home and why i had a feeling of not belonging on this planet as such but of course when you are young you dare not tell anyone of your feelings as you would be labelled mad. I can look at images on NASA's site (my particular fave) and feel a bit homesick....i have also had a feeling that i have been to some places before but i cannot recall in detail...even to this day i can gaze up at the stars and actually develop a longing to go up there.
I have always been fascinated by space and sci-fi. I never made any connections to having been there in a past life or whatever. I just thought it was something that interested me, like the sci-fi books, no more than when people are interested in romance novels. Since I was a child I wanted to go to outer space, live on a space station and such. Does that mean that there is something deeper there? I just take it as part of my interests and nothing more.
