Yeah it does, we manifest physicality from spiritual/mind matter. We're physical, mental, emotional, spiritual beings.
Science is always subject to change too, so why would you be waiting for science to tell you what you can work out for yourself? I don't get you.

Lol, of course truth is relative - therefore how can science even try to assess?
I don't agree that most people want to understand - I think most people are happy to live in ignorance. The only way to 'prove' your own mind is to test it and challenge it, push it's boundaries and find out for yourself its capabilities.

Actually as spirits here on earth, we have neither progress or gone down hill, But as far as the general state of man, yes it has been up and down, but over all, down hill.

Adam and etc lived to be around 1,000 years old, you were still a kid at 120.

Man goes through cycle, slavery, rebellion, propriety, decadence, pride then slavery again,and over and over. Pride is the main killer, Pride closes us to light and leads us into darkness.
But what we think and how we spiritual act, affects our bodies and minds and those of our progenitors; the talents and personalities and sins are passed on to those to come from us, or from those who came before us.

If one wants to live longer, be starter and healthier today, and pass it on, we each need to change and live the laws which bring it to being. But then I guess one needs to know what they are, and how to implement them.

I have faith in science. I am sure they will figure out the spiritual eventually.

i am not really sure that spiritual can even go into the scope of science, since real experimentation are hard to realise and validate, and the way they would eventually use around electrical activity measurement and real physical observation is not really the good way to go, it not even really sure that the numerical approach is ok when working with spiritual thing =) the main area in spiritual study is around economico-social, or maybe mind controlling in secret labs there are some aera around cognitive studies and things but really i would not exept something interesting from science into spiritual area in a close future =) they didn't even yet figured out how a single neuron really works and anyway anything which is out of economic interest would not get any funding atm, and thus any real study around this would be really underground and unofficial and thus would be called unscientific probably also science is now part of the industry and do not even exist outside of industry =) so making the mind part of an industry is partially what is going on currently, and i think its what you can exept from what current science can get from spiritual studies =)

I tend to disagree just a teeny bit. I don't think of myself, or anyone else for that matter, as just a physical being. The physical world is there only because I need it in order to be able to function on this plane and learn what I'm here to learn. Instead of a body that happens to have a soul, why not a soul that happens to have a body? I do trust science, but I don't believe that there is always a scientific explanation to things. Maybe in the future our understanding of science will evolve to the point where we can come to a definite conclusion on certain things. But right now, I just don't think we have the technology or the brain capacity.
