One of Rense.com's widely-read contributors is author and lecturer, David Icke. In his books, David writes about the Illuminati and all their connected secret groups and how they are the ones manipulating world events for their benefit. Who are the super rich "elite" Illuminati and their associates? The Queen of England, her husband Prince Philip and the Royal House of Windsor, the hierarchy on the board of directors of the Vatican, including the Pope; the Rothschilds, Rockefellers, Morgans,Duponts, Fords, Carnegies,Melons,Bush's etc.


Well, according to Mr. Icke's fevered mind, all of those people listed above are actually alien Lizards who assume human appearances by drinking human blood. Shades of the old TV show " V ". Yep. I remember it when it was new. I followed David Icke's claims for a couple of years, read a couple of his books, and I came to the conclusion that he is either just plain nuts or he's not very bright. But, I could be wrong about the either/or. He may be both nuts and a dim bulb.


You can read all the amazing facts and details in David's books, ...AND THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE and THE BIGGEST SECRET. After reading these books, one will be more able to see the global manipulation that is taking place on a daily basis. One will be able to see how this evil group manipulates humanity to fight wars in order for them to benefit financially and control the masses of the over 6 billion human beings on this planet. War or the threat of war on a never ending basis is the main way they keep the people in FEAR, so the FEW CAN CONTROL THE MASSES!


And, if you read other books, particularly history books, you will discover...THAT IT DOESN'T TAKE A LIZARD TO RULE THE WORLD. Human beings are perfectly capable of manipulating minds for personal gain, both on a global and a lesser scale, and have been doing so since the very early stages of human civilization. We have more to fear from our very human brothers and sisters than we do from an alien race, even one with Icke scales.




As David points out in his books, in order for the Illuminati to achieve their horrible insane agenda,.this sick group and the bankers within the group FINANCE AND SUPPORT BOTH SIDES in all the major wars that have been waged or are currently being fought on this Planet. They really have no compassion for human life,


They have no compassion for human life.... other than their own and those of their loved ones. Sadly, this is a very common human ailment. But, yes, they, the bankers, have financed both sides in every major war that has been fought for centuries. No doubt about that but, Mr. Icke was not the first to discover this...not by a long shot. He is merely the first to gain such notiriety for attributing this to an alien race.


and do not care how many millions or quite possibly billions of human beings they have to kill to achieve their end result, whatever their desired result is. They don't care if you're black or white or Christian, Muslim or Jewish, Democrat or Republican, whether you're American, Chinese, Afghani, European, Iraqi, Israeli, Palestinian etc. or whoever. TO THE ILLUMINATI HUMANS ARE NO MORE THAN CATTLE TO BE SLAUGHTERED, IF NEED BE.



Sorry but they do care about how many people they destroy. They have to be somewhat choosy about who they kill. See, they need to retain enough people to maintain their wealth in an economy which is based upon the work of the lower classes. That's us. Without us, they're screwed and they know that. The African continent seems to have been deemed a battle ground meant to support their arms sales. South America has awakened recently and the wars there have dwindled down to a trickle. The Iraq war is/was an attempt for the corporate elite to earn more money in a war economy. Before the war began, they were holding seminars to educate people as to how they can earn millions by investing in the war. So they would be making money off the blood of our kids and the Iraqis.

So, oh, no. These people are very human. They were just hiding behind the door the day the gods handed out virtues like compassion, self sacrifice, and humility. And, because of this, these people can be very easily led by any voice appealing to their baser natures.

The rest of us are doomed to consider the possible consequences of our actions through an ethical lens and attempt to choose the least of all evils.


This is the simple truth about us and them. They are in charge right now but, we have the power to change that. Ask me how.

We begin by believing. We begin to make changes by believing that we can. Cynicism is a trap that we set for ourselves. But, by believing that each and every one of us has the power in our hands and in our hearts and minds to bring about the changes we seek, we can make miracles happen.


Faith is not the sole property of the religious anongst us. Faith is the very foundation for every step forward that every single human being has ever taken since the dawn of time. Without faith in ourselves and in each other and the future we can all create, we become stuck in the mire of our own making and we'll drag everyone else down with us.

And, if faith is the foundation for every step forward, cynicism is the basis for every step backward. Cynicism does not make you brighter than the rest, it does not make you wiser than the rest. Despite all of your knowing winks at each other, cynicism is the path of negativity and it only leads to stagnation. It is a self fulfilling prophecy....and it feeds on itself every time a negative prediction of the future is allowed to come true.


So, with all of that said, all change requires action on our parts. Nothing will ever get done if we're just sitting around on our asses and complaining to each other about how miserable our lives are right now, now will it? So, if you want change like I do, stand up and do something about it. Make it happen. We Americans have the power right now to make this a better world. But, we need to do something. We need to have faith and we need to vote. We need to vote for our best and last hope for the changes we want, and with nearly the entire world behind us, we can make it happen.


If you want a better environment for your children and grandchildren, vote. If you want help with your educations and your children's educations, vote. If you believe that the war in Iraq must come to a close, vote.

If you believe that our dependance on fossil fuels needs to end, vote.
If you believe that every American deserves the same access to health care as the rich, vote.


If you believe that the corporate elite deserve to go it alone like the rest of us, without receiving gov't subsidies, vote with me in November. And, if all of these things speak to your heart, if you agree with me that these are some of the things that need to be changed, then you have only one choice for your vote. His name is Barack Obama and he will get it done.


Then, don't stop there. He needs help to accomplish these things so we must aid him by voting more democrats into the House and Senate. We have a better future in our hands, don't let go.

Barb, you can't really believe that voting is the answer. I would listen to David Icke before I'd listen to anything Barack Obama has to say. Have you heard anything about the disenfranchisement of the voting system? That's very far from untrue. This country was bought and sold a long time ago. People need to put their energy into something else besides pretending in democracy. America is dying and voting is not going to save it. I like most of the things you have to say, but putting faith in politicians is a mis-guided effort. Republicans and Democrats are two halves to a whole. They work for the same people. Barack is not the answer and time will prove it.

...and i got faith!, in myself, in the world, this galaxy, the universe,....unfortunately(or even fortunately, i'm not 100% certain) i cannot vote for Obama, I'm still sitting on my german citizenship here in the US , but i have put him in my prayer(not religious), used my personal faith to help the political cause....

To be honest, it's such ridiculousity, have told 'them' whoever they are that it's like playing chess against Eternity itself. What are the chances that someone would win (Except if Eternity had a nice lesson to give them). If even the worlds top chessmaster has problems against the new computer AI in chess, how the hell are they ever going to be able to do anything against someone that knows all their deeds, all their wants, all their emotions, even their most inner personality, their childhood, their parents thoughts, their own patterns for doing so and so forth...

Btw, my own investigation into this phenomenom has shown that those 'inflicting' odd thoughts and emotions and 'steering things' are merely like insects or mosquitos (in their size comparision to us). They have NO power whatsoever, and the 'power' they get from humanity is very very very weak.

The only thing that makes them strong is that they 'push' the humans on their hurt places and through that might cause fright to get the human to behave in a certain way, but because total security is going to come from all the dimensions and from Within it will make it impossible for them to exist at all since they have no 'grasping' place of the human being.

well justin, as much as i see corruption in the system (not limited to voting) IMO it would be stupid to pass on the vote, granted it may not do anything if you vote, but it definitely does something when you don't vote! People seem to think "non-action" has no consequences, and that i believe is far from true!
So many don't vote and bitch about what others voted for or what resulted out of it, duh!?! don't complain if you are not taking your chance to make a difference! Further i don't believe Barb thinks we can save the world with a vote, but this vote can be a first step, a step that is so simple to see and execute(whether you vote for Obama or else)...it is something almost everyone can accomplish, versus others telling you you got top sacrifice your life&family&friends... in order to bring change! I don't believe anything John McCain says and I don't believe anything Barack Obama says, so why the hell would I bother voting? I don't place my faith in politicians and I know exactly why. If you feel like voting helps you serve your country, then by all means, go vote. I don't believe that and it's not something that I feel the need to debate to a great extent. It's a giant charade that I happen to see through. Politicians aren't going to save this country, regardless of how good of a speech writer they have. Ok. Of course, that's your choice. And, isn't that one of the best things about a democracy? We have choices that we can actually act upon....not so in many other places.

Yes, I know that the voting system has been subverted and many of us have been disenfranchised. It happened in 2000 and again in '04 and it could happen again. Yep. It could happen again. But, let me tell ya something. If you think you've been disenfranchised, and that bothers you, yet you don't want to do anything to try to re-enfranchise yourself then, what good are you really? Yes, I just asked you what good are you.

Now, here's the thing, the most important thing. I don't put my faith in politicians, alone, not even Obama but, I do put my faith in you, and in my next door neighbors, in my sister and my brother, and my husband and my son, in Lavella, and Freespeak, and Benares, and Lillies, and in every thinking American who is fed up with the status quo. Yes.

I believe that together we can re-enfranchise each other. It won't be easy, it may even lead to bloodshed, oooohhhh scary, but we can reclaim this country...together. I believe we can bring our soldiers home, we can bring about an end to corporate welfare, and create an economy based on green technology. Other countries have done it, so can we. I believe we can provide universal health care for everyone who can't afford it on their own. I believe we can fuck the military industrial complex and we can hang their CEOs out to dry. I believe we can reform education and make higher education more affordable for the masses of kids who can't afford it now. I even believe that we can bring high skilled manufacturing jobs back to this country...and I believe that we can do none of this if we don't try, if we don't believe we have the power, if we don't vote, we are screwed, blued and tatooed! I also believe that some politicians are decent people who still give a big shit about us, the little people. Yet, none of those politicians are registered Republicans. Not a one. McCain doesn't understand the economy that is biting the rest of us on the ass every single day. One of his staff members called all of us who are asking for help, all of us who have lost our jobs to outsourcing, all of us who are having to choose between heating our homes in the winter and buying food, all of us whom they have screwed....he called us " whiners" .


Yes. I was once a non-believer like you, Justin. I went thru that for a couple of years, not voting, telling everyone I met that there was no use anymore, Then it hit me that by not voting, I had made myself part of the problem. My not voting was making it easier for the bastards to get what they wanted, and one of the things they want is eternal war...I said " fuck that! " That's when I realized that I had been one of millions of subjects of an epic scam. That scam was meant to make us give up, to make us stop being a part of the solution, by making us drop out and get the fuck out of the ways of those who sought total control.

So, I started voting again, the year was 2000. I voted and I watched as my vote and those of millions of other Americans were thrown out on technicalities.....fucking hanging chads, fucking partisan Supreme Court, fucking fuck fucks! So, not only did I determine to vote again until the day I died, I started speaking out again, and it took a long time but, people began to listen, and they decided that they were as fed up with the current administration as I was....so, they voted in a democratic majority in the House and Senate, a majority that could stand against Bush and his war-mongering hordes. We fucking did that! And we can do more.

As most of you know, I do not believe in giving up. It is not in my nature and when I did give up for awhile, I felt such wrongness in that. So, I became a believer again. I've been disappointed. I've been disgusted and I've been horrified. I wanted to wring Al Gore's neck, and Kerry's after him. But, the more I've been disapponted, the more I've been disgusted, the more I've been horrified at all of the death and destruction wrought by my enemies and yours, the more determined I became to fight.

But, so many other people are different. The more disgusted they got, the less they did to to try to make it right. The more disappointed they got, the less they wanted to believe. The more horrified they got, the more they ran away to hide their heads in the sand. The more they came to believe that we were being controlled, and the more they shouted it out to the world ala these conspiracy threads et al, the more they tried to ignore those who would be our masters because, they are just too effing powerful, you know? What good is that? What good are they?

There's a famous old saying in the military. It goes like this;

" Lead, Follow, or get the fuck out of the way! " But, there's another one on the same line. It goes; " Lead, Follow, or shut the fuck up!"


So, Justin, what would you like to change? If you could, of course.


Oh, one last thing, for my own curiosity, would you mind telling me why you wouldn't trust anything Obama says?

See, about a month ago a neighbor of mine told me that she doesn't trust him because he has a funny name...amidst a crowd of people, she said,

" I mean, just listen to it. Barrraaack Oh bah mah? " And, I laughed out loud at her. I thought she was being funny. She wasn't. Oh, well.

Oh, it's not that I find him distasteful, I didn't say that. It's not a personal issue with any of these people, I've never met him. He might be a real good person. But, the federal government doesn't run this country, private banks do. Presidents are just poster boys for the higher-ups, they're scapegoats. The democrats and republicans aren't enemies. The Bush family and the Clinton family are close friends. Hillary and Barack fought like cats and dogs while they were running against each other over every issue under the sun, now the Clinton family is backing him on everything he says and plans to do. I mean, c'mon, these guys are actors. They are playing a part and it changes to suit whatever their agenda is at the moment. They don't give a flying fuck about any of us. All they want to do is make a grab at power and once they have it, all they're going to want to do is expand it.

When I look at the history of America from a non-biased point of view, it makes me sick to my stomach. I never once swore my allegiance to this country and I never will. If I owned an American flag I would fly it upside down. Anyone who says that those who don't vote have no right to complain can scream that shit all the way to the voting poll and I won't hear a word of it. Someone's telling me I have no right to do something I want to do? Well, guess what, I'm going to do it anyway...fuck the presidency! If you think Barack is going to get voted in and all of a sudden everything is going to be oh, so much better, you're in for a huge disappointment, I'm afraid. The wheels are already rolling and their heading downhill, right into a valley full of bullshit.

It's not a lack of faith in the world around me that's causing my disposition towards the government, it's their constant disregard for the betterment of humanity. They simply do not give a fuck and the way the system is designed, it cannot sustain a big enough change to fix it, no matter who is in office. The guys who wrote the declaration of independence, stating that all men were equal, were busy owning slaves and killing native americans, and that just serves as a metaphor for our entire history as a nation. There are something like 190 countries in the world and we have military bases in 130 of them and it's not the fault of republicans alone. It's both sides that led us to this shit-hole state of being we're in now. We're global bullies and electing some other rich politician into office is not going to change that.

I think it was Plato who said "Democracy inevitably turns into despotism." Now, that was thousands of years ago. If we haven't learned yet, we're not going to. Our country is going to fall apart. Hell, it already is. I have faith in mother earth. I have faith that she will correct herself when the time comes. We people have already proven that we are incapable of living in peace here on earth. To quote a Tool song,"Silly monkeys given thumbs they make a club and beat their brothers down." The issues on my mind do not stop at America. I see the world as a whole, not divided as they would have us see it. Patriotism equals shit in my eyes. I want to see the whole thing come down and let us start from scratch, that's the only way it's going to get fixed.

What would I do to change things? It starts with one's ownself to begin with. I wouldn't force change on anyone. If they want to change, let them. Live and let live, of course. I think the sooner people realize it's all a charade, the better off we will all be, but that's just my opinion. People have voted since the conception of this "great" nation, and things have steadily gotten worse and worse, so who's kidding who? You can vote until the day you die, but the pieces are going to fall how they will. I believe in pre-destination. Just like Rome, America is going to crumble. I would worry about our own spiritual development rather than supporting people who could give a fuck less whether we live or die.

I have to agree with Justin on this one. Having faith in the voting system is like having faith that the next time you take a shit it might not stink, although the end result is always the same, and we're left with a shitty, stinky asshole. I think the only good voting can do is to show that we still care about this country enough to pitch in our 2 cents, but thats something that you only do once every 4 years. I dont trust anybody running for president, and its not because of their name. If youre a football star you can be an asshole, or you could be a really nice guy. I'm old

I watched a young friend of mine get sucked into the political whirlpool over the past several weeks. So much beauty and life to live in such a short time we have here on mother Earth that it seems such a waste to tie it up attempting to make sense of what I have learned over decades to be,

random static.

Why?

Simply because he is bored while forcing himself to sit in front of satellite radio for two hours commuting to a dead end job 100 miles from where he lives.

There will be no convincing him that his conversion to belief in this process is more or less static. Perhaps instead of labelling those who have "MOVED on" form belief in a childish popularity contest as cynical, you movin on folks could accept the possibility that some have really grown tired of playing student council decades after graduation as it were.

As far as Mr Icke's theorys go. . .

If I was of Jewish descent, I could readily label his philosophy as from the same roots as what is termed anti semitic

I am not

If I was ready to change my name to Hitler and brainwash a starving population into blind obedience I could repackage that same basic philosophy found in "The protocols of the elders of Zion" and use it to fan the fires into mass hysteria.

If I was a young man searching for meaning in a political wasteland I may be ready to embrace the words Hope and change as mantras of salvation.

This Earth is a beautiful place and will be long after she cleans out whatever infections have matastisized and appear to us microbes to be overwhelming at times.

OK. This country is fucked. The decline is concrete, as you say. I have to figure from the tone of your post that that realization makes you angry and you'd like to change it. You'd like this country to be a better place, right? I'm going to concede for a moment only, that you are right and that voting won't do a damned thing to change anything.

With that said, I'm going to ask you a couple of questions.

1) What, if anything, would you like to change about this country? Make a list if you have to. I have one.


2) How would you make those changes come about since voting is not an option? I am asking you your opinion on what we can do to fix America and on what you, yourself, intend to do to fix it.



In my next post I will be showing how other countries have brought about needed changes just to show that it can be done and is being done all the time. Then, Child, I'll be waiting for you to tell me just how ridiculous all of that is, too.
