I'm just swinging on a moon beam

This ad goes away when you register.
I noticed Angeios thread about moon phases and moods came back up recently and I thought I would share a story or well kind of a story.

I play music in a band and we recently had a show on August 16th. I had been hearing about the 17th over and over again as all my clients wanted me to do something or another on that date and it was a sunday so I was hoping they would be letting me rest. Everything I heard from the begining of the month had to do with August 16th or 17th. So much so that I thought there would be a huge disaster on that weekend. Turns out it was just the full moon.

It was odd though because the night of the show I felt such a burst of energy. I was scatterbrained but I felt such a burst of energy. I performed better than I ever had with this band, at least publicly. At the same time I left my keys to my apartment in a yellow cab so I had to sit outside my apartment until 5 am. until someone let me in because both my roomates were out of town.

I had video taped the show and when I got together with my band mates one of them noticed that there was this solitary hanging white light above my head that looked just like a full moon. I got chills because the ceiling over the stage is made out of glass and lets the moonlight in.

Coincidentally (or not) I found out that I was a red planetary moon as my Mayan astrological signature and the site I used said to meditate on a red moon. I have always been obsessed with the harvest moons I would see as a child.

Another synchronicity happened because I was talking to my friend who sells blessed incense and african religious and occult items and she asked about my birthday, which is october 9th 1979. She immediatley got excited because she was a 3 and the other woman we were talking with was a 6 and I am a 9. She also noticed that my symbol is the moon and that the jasmine insence I picked out is the scent that represents the moon.

I also noticed that my window aligns with the moon at around 4am and if the moon is full I will wake up abruptly from an intense lucid, so full of energy that I am practically shaking and at this point I have to scramble to write my dreams down.

Just an interesting stream of events I have had recently and thought I would share with the class. If anyone has any reflections or relations to what I have written. Feel free to respond.

O.K. No one responded to this but I figured out what was up with the date and the week of August 16th.

There was a partial eclipse which was in the works but was only visible from Austrailia on the moonset of the 17th. Seems like no ones that interested but I am really coming into the realisation that I have a strong connection to the moon. check out this link:

Oh and the week before all the planets were visible in the night sky at the same time.

times are quite interesting, for myself i notice as well how everything falls into place....and i'm a moonchild as well, it's crazy sometimes! i always thought it was cause i was born on a new moon, though i'm really not sure! Somewhere in my mayan/dreamspell reading the red moon comes up as well , i'm a red crystal serpent!

That's probably why I find I can relate to you so often. I have always had a strong connection to the moon. Everyone else tends to get a nervous energy while I feel kind of drunk with energy like I am floating through my life when the full moon comes around. It is just so much clearer as I get older as far as how it relates to my life. It seems like on that day I am not in synch with the energy on earth or like I am recieving the reflected energy of the sun off the moon very very easily...um with out any resistance. It's kind of unexplainable but I imagine you get me. I even get a buzz just talking about it.

..i wish that was true for me! the full moon kinda puts me on edge, at least within the last year that i paid attention to it....sometimes i think tho, that this "edge" has purpose! i usually get angry real fast around the full moon, and this anger is usually directed towards something that "deserves" it, i just wish i could control it better ...i'm not so used to leashing out

when i was younger(teenager and under) i used to have trouble sleeping on a full moon, immense trouble! now, i sleep like a baby when the full moon comes around, better than any other night of the month...(perhaps i'm dehydrated)

It was confusing before but it feels good now like I am being replenished with that vital energy.

there is this song, i wish i could find the video...

    Shakespeare Sisters ~ Moonchild

    Moonchild lyrics

birds can fly and fish can swim
but on this planet where do i fit in?
i could be in trouble or just imagining
sometimes i feel like an alien
i make them laugh i make them stare
but mr. jones said "hey young girl
don't you feel sorry for yourself
    the world's out there"
    there's a moonchild for everyone
oh little moonchild you're not the only one!
    there's a moonchild for everyone
oh little moonchild you're not the only one!
i looked at the world from another star
that's when you discover who you really are
so if you think you'd like the taste
you know there's not much time to waste
so take off into outer space
    i'll see you there!
    there's a moonchild for everyone
oh little moonchild you're not the only one!

These lyrics make me feel so good because I often feel alone in my relation to the moon. Thanks

I love the moon too. My son'd girlfriend goes out and dances during the full moon. I like to leave my crystals out in the full moon to recharge them.
Moon you later. Wait, that sounded bad.
You get what you think about whether you want it or not.
