We don't need
No, we don't need
no more trouble
no more trouble!
We don't need no more trouble
Wo! Oh-oh-oh!
We don't need
We don't need no
no more trouble!
We don't need no trouble!
We don't need no more trouble
Make love and not war! 'Cause we don't need no trouble.
What we need is love (love)
To guide and protect us on. (on)
If you're up look down from above, ('bove)
Help the weak if you are strong now. (strong)
We don't need no trouble;
What we need is love.
Oh, no!
We don't need - we don't need - no more trouble!
Lord knows, we don't need no trouble!
(We don't need) We don't need no trouble (no more trouble) -
no more trouble - no more trouble!
Speak happiness! (We're sad enough without your woes) Oh, children!
Come on, you all and speak of love. (We're sad enough without your foes) Oh, yeah!
We don't need no trouble;
What we need is love, now. (What we need is love sweet love!)
(We don't need) Oh, we don't need no more trouble!
We don't need, no - we don't need no trouble!
We don't (need) - Oh, brothers and sisters tell me what's going on? ... (no more trouble!)
We don't need no trouble; we don't really need no trouble!
'Cause!
We don't need no trouble!
What we need is love!
We don't need - we don't need no - we don't need -
no more trouble - we don't need no more trouble!
Troubles we don't need (we don't need),
(We don't need) Lord, knows! -
we don't need no more war (no more trouble).
No more trouble - we don't need no more - more trouble!

This Quote from Ghandi gave me chills this morning:
"When I despair, I remember that all through history the ways of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants, and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end they always fall. Think of it--always."
-M. K. Ghandi
Although not all authority is evil, this made me consider authority. There are many forces/entities who claim/give themselves power over another...in some ways, even if someone is appointed a position by another entity, they still become a bit autocratic because they apportion power to themselves over people which was never really intended or imagined.
I am talking about peace here, but I have to be specific so forgive me for the first person perspective![]()
I personally do not register authority...I mean I can see it and perceive it, even coexist with it if it has a good cause, but I do not appoint anyone as an authority over me and I cannot really fathom it. I personally believe in God / The Source, and always ponder that truly God has all power (according to my beliefs) and never forces anyone to submit to God or to believe in God.
I have found that others cannot have authority over you unless you grant it to them...even to the most extreme, if you have not submitted in your heart, if you have resisted even the greatest tyranny, they were never truly tyrants with total power because they did not have power over youWhen people set themselves up as an authority over me, it may annoy me a bit and possibly surprise me and make me laugh a little, but really it does not provoke resistance until they try to exert their authority over me. I have tried my entire life to find more peaceful ways to coexist with these types and I have come to this conclusion:
Nonviolent resistance is not the opposite of peace, it embraces it and defends it.
If you have not given anyone authority over you, then they truly do not have it, even if they wield an arsenal.
Keep your peace in knowing thisand resist as needed. Some things are really not worth your precious energy and others are worth everything. Only you can make that choice. Choose wisely
