A taoist observational essay:
Understand and love our own nature for it is all we are. Observe all of the similarities of our life among others. Alleviate the ego of its concept of control. Concieve rather of dynamic thought in an organic context. Following strings and branches, defining hollow spaces to allow to be filled. Roots reach downwards to find a solid place to grasp. Though nothing is permanent and immovable. The very laws that govern our being are under a revionary evolution spanning infinity. We are awash in this infinite tide, returning to the very source of creation. We recognize its tender shapelessness yet irregard for ego. When it speaks, we listen - now is always the right moment. It moves beyond hard things, or through them. It has no mass, no body to be harmed, no structure to break. It has washed away our imaginary hardness. With roots free we may float as a lotus, we may fly or flow to a place beyond imagination. Creating reality by never trying to do a thing. With a great wordlessness being the most substantial manifestation of all. That which cannot be described is the greatest treaure of all.
We must transcend.

darksearch, i'm not quite sure what your mom meant either...so let us try to figure it out...
i believe that if one has "soul" or is spiritually adept, then they are infinately alive with or without the body as a catalyst...
it is one thing to live, or have life (being here in present)...yet another thing to truly be "alive", or motivated (exercising your presence)...
what is your understanding of such matters?
let go of the fabricated, embrace that which you do not see!!
