I am weary of all the arguments and negativity that can be on this board. So I've decided to do something about it. This thread, and possibly a forum group, will be about relaxing.
What is a valkryie?
In Norse mythology, the valkryies were shield-maidens of Odin. They collected the souls of brave warriors that died in battle. They were also waitresses in Valhalla. Valhalla is where the dead soldiers would feast until Ragnarok.

I think some people could volunteer to be valkryies...to be comforters and enders of conflict here. Anyone can visit the thread though. A few simple rules:
- Keep all feuds outside this thread.
- Try to be nice people...this is a fun place.
- Feel free to rep anyone you want for no good reason!

I agree, this is a great idea. I don't think I am qualified to volunteer as I seem to always find some conflict to be a part of, but if anyone wants to be my personal valkryie, just send me your resume. I can only pay in hugs and blessings though

well, seeing as how I'm a guy, being a waitress doesn't really sound too enticing. But, you can wait until I get killed and come get me off of the battlefield if that suits you fair shield maidens, although I don't plan on dying for a while, 'cause I'm a war waging beast. You can wait on me in eternity if you want, as long as you don't expect a tip. I'll tip here on earth, but I'll be damned if I'm going to do it in valhalla, too.
