The following rules and guidelines are a basis for all activities (including the message boards, the guestbook, calendar, etc.) found on the IndigoSociety website (http://www.indigosociety.com). Agreement to these guidelines provides that you are over the age of 13.
Content: The IndigoSociety.com website is created to be a community for indigo resources and networking.
Legal Issues and Lawsuits: You agree not to use this website as a place to recruit others to help you in any legal action or data gathering for legal action.
Support on the Message Boards: Please keep all support offers within the public confines of the posts and threads. You may not ask the members to email you for support issues. Public message boards provide that many will receive support even when lurking. Suggesting that members email so that you can provide information is considered solicitation.
Inappropriate Word Usage: The Indigo Society message boards have a censor that removes inappropriate words and replaces them with ***. Do not attempt to bypass the censor by misspelling inappropriate words.
Solicitations (SPAM): It is against board rules to invite, solicit or coerce others to join other community websites through posts, email, PM, use of indigosociety membership list or any other resource within the indigosociety website. Please note that advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are inappropriate to personally post, send through PM, email or any other feature of the indigosociety.com website: message boards, guestbook, etc, with the exception of the forum for ADVERTISERS. Further, please do not use hotlinks to link to this site's graphics.
Informational links: We allow you to add informational/educational links in reply to a support request thread only if the link goes to a non-commercial site. Additionally, threads started for the purpose to provide information/link will be removed. Submit these links to our RESOURCE directory instead.
Solicitations/Interview/Data Gathering You agree not to use the message boards, membership list, PM, guestbook as a way to gather data, research, request interviews without permission of the owner of IndigoSociety. Use the contact us form for permission and additional information.
Copyright material: You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by IndigoSociety. This includes text content, art or photos.

Public Threats: You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this website (with message boards, chatroom or other interactives of Indigo Society) to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law.
Public Flames/Hot Topics: You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not make derogatory comments about any person based on religion, race, gender, etc. Please remember this is a large community with many members from all parts of the world, representing all people.
