It feels a little late to be posting this but..

When I got up this morning, I thought I was awake and ready for the day. I got at least 6 hours of sleep I think, but I was up for about an hour and a half before collapsing back on my bed and sleeping for 7 more hours. During that time I had some interesting dreams but I was awakened at least twice by two different voices at different times. I just layed there, blinking and listening.

The first was a female with an accent. As hard as I tried, I couldn't make anything out that she was saying but I could tell she was sarcastic. She laughed and i went on to dream again.

The next time I woke up, it was to a man's voice. He seemed rushed and almost desperate, as if he was on a time limit to talk to me. He said so much and I tried really hard to come up with a way for myself to remember what he said for when I came out it, but I could only remember that he addressed me by my name whenever I started to lose focus, he also seemed to say that something was preventing me from "remembering" and that I am(or was) a loving, brave soul who actually accomplished great things and that I am actually very different from whatever I am now. He didn't imply that I am bad now, just that there is more to me than I think. He also said something relating to the "past" and that (almost?)no one else "remembers" me either.. like part of my existance was erased. It was so hard to understand him.. i'm not even positively sure that I got all of this right.

Two names came to me while I was listening to him.. "Kananji" and "Kyuri". It was weird(well, the whole thing was BUT) because he didn't tell them to me. When I listened to him, I think I was someone else. lol I don't know if that is understandable. I came up with the names. It's like I pulled them from a past life memory of people "I knew", but don't actually know, because I was trying to ask him who he was. He wouldn't answer me because of the rush, and I recall trying to speak back in my mind and my voice was hushed for some reason, so he probably didn't hear me and I still don't know who he is..

I don't know what to make of this.

If it was a spirit, I want to contact this being again but I don't know how I can do it. This has happened to me before but not the same way. I will look up some ways to contact a specific being myself on google but if anyone has tips or suggestions on what to do, that would be great.

Has anyone here had this kind of thing happen to them? and were you able to connect with the "voice" again afterwards? Sorry, I want to know more about it.

Hey there. Talking with spirits is defiantly very odd to do, took me a couple of months to get the hang of it and understand it at all. Seems like their ought to be a thread on spirit communication but I digress.

Communicating with spirits is almost like talking to yourself. Use your inner voice to try and send out a message. Just mentally think outwards at these spirits, and listen for an answer back. The answer you get will seem like it's coming from inside your head, possibly accompanied by random thoughts (picking up on sarcasm). Be respectful, but confident, remember that it is essentially invading your space, so you have the authority and seniority to have it respect you back. I personally found that random spirits talking to me can be annoying if I'm not very comfortable with them.

When it happens again, close your eyes and just try and feel around your room to see if you can feel an energy or presence(s) around you. Try and pick up on some attributes that you can remember it by. In my experience spirit names are kinda loose, more of an association then having true meaning. If you can pick up on their energies, use a name and then call that spirit by that name.

Focus on one of the voices you heard again, think about what you heard, felt, thought, at the time, and ask for that spirit to contact you. If you are overwhelmed say/think this and hopefully it will back off, and won't be to overwhelming for you. If you feel a presence in your room, you can verbally say something at it and it will hear you as well.

Hmm, that's all the help I can really give, kinda a tough one to explain. By listening you will learn in time how the communication works. Sometimes I've had random things talk to me at night in my dreams and stuff, but you should be able to find the spirits again. Practice and meditation, be sure you're properly grounded, and you'll discover how to do it with time. Good luck. Hope this helps!

It will feel odd at first but once you get use to it, it's like talking to ordinary people in an ordinary street. Give an example, people in the street around us don't usually talk to people they don't know
