I guess I've just been noticing it a lot more lately... but I get the feeling that some people are feeling they are the only ones with certain abilities or 'gifts'.

I feel the need to say that just because we don't all share our abilities or mention them doesn't mean that we aren't here.

I know I don't often discuss what I am capable of or what I can sense but I sense it all the same. I'm sure there are probably others that are like me who don't talk about it much but still have such abilities and senses.

I only know this is a message I am suppose to convey. I feel in my heart that these words are meant to be written.

You aren't the only ones, even you don't hear us we are still here and we can feel and think for ourselves.

This brings to mind another important lesson I have learned recently. If you always protect someone they'll never have a chance to learn, never have a chance to grow. They will be forever dependent on you.

these abilities are things anyone is capable of, we can all do these things given the correct circumstances

also I think it's important to mention is that there is no guarantee these gifts are there forever, we are constantly changing and these gifts are given to us on the grounds of our good conduct, should we misuse them, they are easily locked away, not by an external force but by our own spirit to prevent you from harming yourself or others

Some people want others to be dependent.

... or scared.

There's a tiny few here who claim to be something they 100% are not, and as Silverhaze said, just because the rest of us don't proclaim great gifts and expect others to be in awe of us, doesn't mean we're not going quietly about our business doing our thing. We're all different and our unique abilities & strengths are what makes the world go round and the information get shared.

I find it particularly funny when somebody claims to be spiritually above the rest of us and some kind of new avenging messiah, believe me you are NOT

I think some should remember that sometimes, the greatest strength comes from the meekest. Silver is spectacular in her meekness... I would not want to be on this woman's bad side! LOL ...seriously.

Actually Rain it didn't stem from anyone person, I just get this overwhelming feeling that many people on this site are feeding their egos with this thought that they are the only ones capable of certain things.

It's not important what we are capable of but what we do with our capability. Bragging and using it to push others around or convincing ourselves that we need to protect those who are 'weaker' than us is an illusion that only feeds the ego and separates us from one another.

Weirdzilla! This is the second thread that's mirrored my private thoughts. These abilities are just useful as aids to understanding the nature of reality/self and sublimating the "I".

hah thats funny I have two pit bulls who will bark hard and rip off someones leg or other limb..the bark is an indication of whats to come, serves as a preamble to the next reaction which is generally action..

nah brosefus...the two pits are in this house im in, and two doors up is our other house which we rent to a friend and the wolves have that whole place to roam..I cant have the 4 together or it'd be deadly

That's funny cause for the most part when I've seen a dog bark it ends up being a chihuaha or something. Most of the really tough dogs I've seen have always been quiet and pretty calm until necessarry.

Anyhow, it's just a saying, and you get what the saying is trying to say.

Actually, my little 5 pound chihuaha tried to kill a pit bull the other day... One of the boys brought his dog in the house... and she was a female... Brutus still went for the jugular.
