Due to the curve of the earth a moon lower on the horizon will appear red due to having its light diffused through the atmosphere. Stars will twinkly erratically. Once higher in the sky both will appear normal. It can be very fascinating to see.

<t>What about those who never appeased others but instead expected others to appease them?<br/> <br/> What if their feeling of not being genuine to themselves is that they wish they could accept and connect to others? <t>I am also a new poster. My opinion is neither novel or fresh, it is not an outsiders view, nor will it pretend to be one. <t>I do not believe our rituals to deal with death are pathetic. Perhaps our culture would do better to consider it a celebration of someone's life but we tend to hide death and all its facets. If hide is not the right word we certainly compartmentalize so we keep it separate. People used to die and...

Technologically induced synesthesia? Is it the same as synesthesia? As in does it provide the benefits such as memory that natural synesthesia can?

I believe humans have the beautiful capability of creating a myth and then believing it.

I do believe in God and wonder if it created us/had us evolve this wonderful ability to imagine.

People of this generation do not want to start something new but something better always leaving them running to something new without finishing whatever they have already started.

I want to finish reading the current book I am on, Apollo's Angels.

I don't see Anonymous as being about the people and our rights. It is about the lulz and always has been since 4-chan though many have made it something else entirely. When they were hating on Tom Cruise it was obvious this was not about me. My opinion...of course.

Yes, of course it was lighthearted.

Comments regarding my initial and more serious post on this thread are also welcome (:

The World Tree is about balance as is karma. Maybe we should not interfere with the balance?

<t>I know it is a matter of semantics but I refer to the body as transient, a shell, that will crack one day, while the spirit is eternal, and the soul is the interface between the body and spirit. That is the soul weighs our spirit down, our soul connects us to the world, the physical plain, but th...

<t>I wonder if our "desire to immortality" is an imbalanced view of life cycles based on our own cultural deficiencies?<br/> <br/> That is our society doesn't have a healthy view on aging gracefully. <t>I don't know but I would hope my decision would not be made based on if the guest possessed or lacked skills to be independent. So many lack these skills and some will never gain them. <t>If I could then it most likely means I have my hand on a lever of power. I want to see the Universe as every expanding due to information being created every moment. So in a sense it is like a big hard drive that has the capability to increase its capacity. Akashic records anyone?

I liked them both. Poetry and especially that of lyrics for pop music are better suited toward themes similar to that in the second video.

The brightness of the second video was also more appealing.

Dismantling a rock altar

<t>I collected stones and twigs to construct a rock altar in the backyard. Unsure why, it felt right, but I had no plans on how to use it. My favorite part of this thread.

<t>It is I who posted on the wrong thread since it would have felt inappropriate to post on the other one since it seemed less welcoming and I am certain was by invitation only (for those who understand.) You won't get that many votes much less views on this thread but I could be wrong since the title is rather sensationalistic.

I'm also not from here just passing through...lol

Unsure if those titles are similar but I have only seen Tsubasa (which shares the same main characters as CCS!) and a bit of Howl's. xxxHolic is about addictions and the consequences of having them. What is Full Moon Wo Sagashite about?

Herman Hesse also said/wrote this, which might offer greater perspective:

Each of us has to find out for himself what is permitted and what is forbidden - forbidden for him. - Hermann Hesse

Big business has traditionally supported the government. Sharing your information with them is nothing new? And in the future the business of big business will be information...
