Re: The DSM 5 Finds "Inconvenient People" Mentally Ill

Hello... My gut level reaction to the DSM is not very positive. Everything is a disorder or delusion. There is not much acknowledgement for Spirit in the DSM.
On the other hand there are some degrees of Truth in it (IMHO) if taken with a grain of salt. A big grain
Mental telepathy of any type is 100% defined as a delusion. Although I disagree with this due to some experiences I have had. There are times when thoughts about this (OR Anything) can be uncontrolled inputs which can be unhealthy. Even the simple He said she said of words that many people argue over. But here at IS WE Never argue, we discuss. It sounds so much better. Note that there could possibly be some latent 'Humour' in the last sentence and I was not 100% serious. just to be clear.

People can get stuck in thier heads. Sifting thru which inputs are valid or even more important revelant can be very important for mental and emotional health.
My daughter studied this book more then me.

DSM 5 is highly controversial and has sparked outrage from the mental health practitioners. As many of these practitioners point out, the new DSM-V makes a pathology out simple and normal behaviors such as grieving for the loss of a loved one.[/font]
