I tried using a lot of these that are posted about a year ago and found that they didn't help me much with meditation, but they did help a lot with my insomnia...even without the headphones, I hook my Ipod to my speakers over my bed and I'm usually asleep before the first song even finishes. The problem is that the waves relax me too much and I end up asleep. Like I said, great for my insomnia, not so good for meditation.

I found this one a few months ago and once I learned what was being chanted and repeated it, I found myself slipping into a meditative state. I now avoid listening to it when I drive, LOL...

Im sure it works on some people better than others. Some of them are easier for beginners or are just better made too. Reading the comments under the video will give you some idea about how well its made and how easy it is to use.
